Baku hosts 'E-commerce and digital customs' regional seminar

Baku. 28 November.REPORT.AZ/ Today, regional seminar entitled "E-commerce and digital customs" launched in the World Customs Organization (WCO) Europe Regional Office for Capacity Building in Baku.

Report informs citing the press service of the State Customs Committee (SCC).

The seminar, organized by the WTO and attended by customs officials from 18 countries, is held with the support of the Korean Customs Cooperation Fund, State Customs Committee and WCO Europe Regional Office for Capacity Building.

The information released by the organization declares that the aim is to strengthen existing opportunities of customs authorities of Europe and increase knowledge in the field of use of modern technologies in cross-border e-commerce and customs.

Opportunities and problem, arising from cross-border e-commerce will be broadly studied in the seminar, to run till December 1.
