AzStateNet blocked over 68.5M malicious links for 5 months

From January to May 2026, 68,545,000 malicious links were blocked on the AzStateNet network, a 3.4-fold decrease compared to the same period last year, Report informs referring to the Azerbaijani State Service for Special Communications and Information Security.

During the reporting period, 1,953,800 malicious electronic documents were neutralized using the centralized antivirus system installed on end-user computers, while 49,024 infected electronic documents were blocked through the Sandbox protection system, representing a 26% and 19% decrease, respectively, compared to the same period last year.

According to the service, 449.39 million malicious links, over 26.5 million infected files were blocked through the antivirus system, and 96,794 malicious documents were blocked through the Sandbox system throughout 2025.
