Azercosmos sees over 54% surge in export revenues

In January-May 2026, the Space Agency of Azerbaijan (Azercosmos) under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport exported satellite telecommunication services worth $10.8 million, Report informs, citing the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication.
According to the center's monthly export review, this figure is about 54.3% higher compared to the same period last year.
During the five months, nearly 90 companies from 33 countries imported Azercosmos services – seven fewer countries than a year earlier.
The main export destinations were the United Kingdom ($1.8 million), Luxembourg ($1.3 million), Türkiye ($490,000), Pakistan ($486,000), and Sweden ($187,200).
The share of export revenues in Azercosmos' total income decreased slightly from 64% to 63%.
In May alone, Azercosmos exported services worth $2.1 million, which is 50% more than in the same month last year.
