Azercosmos: Azerbaijan ranks 18th in global severe drought risk assessment

Azerbaijan ranks 18th globally due to the risk of severe drought by 2040, said Murad Jamalov, the representative of Azerbaijan’s Space Agency (Azercosmos) under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, Report informs.
"According to climate models, it is predicted that the temperature will increase by 0.5-2.5°C degrees and precipitation will decrease by 10-20% in 2020-2040," he said.
