Azerbaijan's mobile phone revenue dips in May despite overall growth

In the first five months of this year, Azerbaijan's mobile phone services generated a revenue of 480.5 million manats, according to the State Statistics Committee. This figure represents a 6.6% increase compared to the same period in 2023, Report informs citing the State Statistical Committee.
However, the month of May saw a slight dip in revenue, with mobile phone services earning 98.4 million manats. This marks a 2% decrease from the previous month, although it still represents a 1.8% increase compared to May of the previous year.
Last year, Azerbaijan's mobile phone services industry generated a total revenue of over $1 billion manats.
