Azerbaijan's ICT sector sees 9% increase in production

Azerbaijan's Information and Communication Technology (ICT) sector has witnessed a remarkable growth in the first five months of this year. According to the State Statistics Committee, the sector produced goods and services worth 843.5 million manats during January-May, marking a substantial 12.5% increase year-on-year.
May alone saw the ICT sector generate output valued at 179.1 million manats, showcasing a 2.3% growth from the previous month and an impressive 9% surge compared to May of the previous year.
In the first five months of this year, the country's Gross Domestic Product (GDP) reached 48,026,000 manats, reflecting a 4.2% increase YoY.
