Azerbaijan launches audio library for visually impaired persons

Baku. 28 November. REPORT.AZ/ Data Processing Center at the Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies creates Audio library for blind and visually impaired persons. More than 100 books have already stored in the library at professional level. 

The library will operate in automatic mode within 24 hours through a special phone service.

Report informs referring to the ministry, various audio-books collected in library in order to provide blind and visually impaired persons with audio books in different genres and styles. The library contains audio books of classic and contemporary Azerbaijani writers and also works of world classics translated into Azerbaijani language.

The unique feature of audio-library is that, by getting access code users without leaving home will dial the phone number and connect to the new system.

Notably, the initial presentation of the library is expected to be within "BakuTel-2016" - Azerbaijan International Exhibition and Conference on Telecommunications and Information Technologies.
