In June 2023, Azerbaijan ranked 116th among 180 countries for fixed broadband Internet speed with an average download speed of 29.47 Mbps.

Report informs, citing the Speedtest Global Index, that this shows no change compared to April and May.

In terms of fixed broadband internet speeds, Singapore ranked first (241.29 MB/s) and Cuba ranked last (1.96 MB/s).

Last month, Azerbaijan fell three notches in terms of mobile internet speed, ranking 59th among 140 countries with a speed of 40.39 Mbps.

For mobile internet speed, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) ranked first (200.24 MB/s) and Afghanistan finished last (2.38 MB/s).

Moreover, in June, the city of Baku dropped six steps in terms of mobile Internet speed (42.42 MB/s), ranking 78th among 169 cities. In terms of the speed of fixed broadband Internet, the capital of Azerbaijan has advanced by one step and ranked 136th (30.92 MB/s).

Among cities, the first place in terms of mobile Internet speed was taken by Ar-Rayyan, Qatar, with a download speed of 258.32 MB / s, and the last place was taken by Khartoum, Sudan, with 1.31 MB/s.

The ranking of cities on fixed broadband Internet includes 194 cities. The capital Abu Dhabi, UAE, topped the list (273.05 MB/s), while Havana was the last in the ranking (1.89 MB/s).
