Azerbaijan admitted to Digital Cooperation Organization

Azerbaijan has been admitted to the Digital Cooperation Organization (DCO), a move that will provide the country with access to advanced digital practices and international standards, Report informs, citing the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of Azerbaijan.

Membership in the organization will create a series of important opportunities for the country.

Through the DCO platform, Azerbaijan will gain access to advanced digital policy, international standards, and knowledge exchange. Local startups will be able to expand into the markets of the organization's member states, participate in joint acceleration programs, and engage with venture capital funds.

DCO membership will enable Azerbaijan to strengthen its role as a digital bridge between the South Caucasus and Central Asia. In digitizing public services, the country will be able to leverage the experience of member states in electronic government, artificial intelligence, and smart solutions.

Azerbaijan will also be able to showcase its own ICT potential to the DCO and its member nations, presenting the work conducted under the Digital Development Council, the capabilities established for digitization, and key projects implemented in recent years. Exchanging this experience will contribute to enhancing the country's export potential in digital products and services.
