Viktor Gasimov: Azerbaijan to import another 150,000 doses of new vaccine from China

"The process of delivery of coronavirus vaccines to Azerbaijan continues in stages. Another 150,000 doses of the new vaccine will be imported from China soon," Deputy Health Minister Viktor Gasimov said at a welcoming ceremony for Vaxzevria (previously COVID-19 Vaccine AstraZeneca) vaccines.
The Deputy Minister noted at present, it is possible to keep the epidemiological situation related to the pandemic at a manageable level: "Of course, the most effective way to protect against the virus is vaccination. The sooner the population is vaccinated, we can overcome this plague by creating herd immunity."
