Turkish scientist: Chinese vaccine more effective against mutated virus

The Chinese vaccine is more effective against mutant viruses, said Professor Hasan Murat Gündüz, a member of the Council under the Ministry of Health and chief physician of the Balcali Hospital of the Medical Faculty of Çukurova University, Report informs, citing Sputnik Turkiye.
"Other Western countries are already leaning towards this inactivated jab. In short, this is an advantage for us. Because we are immunizing our population with this inactivated vaccine," he said.
The expert noted that the situation is expected to improve by the end of spring.
"I hope we will be healthier by the summer. This is the only way to contain coronavirus," he said.
