115 Cuban doctors arrive in Azerbaijan

Azerbaijan continues measures as COVID-19 cases accelerate in country and across the globe. Thus, 115 Cuban doctors are already in Baku to support Azerbaijan in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic, Report informs.

The medical staff will hold consultations for Azerbaijani health workers, assist in the organization of medical services in critical areas, share Cuban experience and approaches to the treatment of coronavirus infection in the outpatient and hospital stages to stabilize the epidemiological situation in the country.

Moreover, 22 medical workers from Russia also arrived in Azerbaijan yesterday. Earlier, 19 doctors from Turkey arrived in Baku within the REACT project.
