Six months after the second dose, the vaccinated person can inject two doses of any vaccine approved for use in Azerbaijan, the Ministry of Health, the State Agency for Compulsory Health Insurance, and TABIB said in response to questions from citizens about vaccination.
The "Vaccine Certificate" will contain information about the last 2 doses. It is advisable to inject the 3rd dose (booster) vaccine into high-risk groups (health workers, people over 60 years of age, people with autoimmune diseases) 6 months after the 2nd dose. Studies show that any vaccine can be used as a booster dose. Regardless of the two doses you have taken before, either the same type or another vaccine can be taken as the 3rd (booster) dose.
At the same time, due to the expiration of the "Immunity Certificate" after July 2, the "Immunity Certificate" of a person receiving one dose of any vaccine used in the country is extended indefinitely. Those who have been inoculated with one dose before July 2 must be vaccinated with the second dose.
