The vaccination against COVID-19 is carried out at 50 and older according to the "Strategy of Vaccination against COVID-19 in the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2021-2022."

These individuals should visit https://randevu.its.gov.az/ and queue online for coronavirus vaccination using the COVID-19 vaccine appointment.

Report informs, citing the joint statement issued by the Ministry of Health, the State Agency for Mandatory Medical Insurance, and the Union of Territorial Medical Units, that some citizens apply directly to a medical institution without taking an online queue for coronavirus vaccination.

Of course, it leads to overcrowding in medical institutions: "Medical staff also have to serve the elderly in order not to return them, as a sign of respect. Another reason for overcrowding at vaccination centers is the use of online queuing services. Some people come to the facility earlier or later than the scheduled appointment."
