Azerbaijan discloses number of people vaccinated against COVID-19

Some 1,457 people received their anti-coronavirus shots in Azerbaijan today, the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers told Report.

The number of those who got their first jab was 493 today, while 168 got their second dose of the vaccine. As many as 671 people got immunized with three or more doses of the COVID vaccine. The number of those vaccinated with a booster dose after a positive result has reached 125.

To date, 13,772,490 coronavirus vaccine jabs have been administered to the population in Azerbaijan. Of these, 5,356,988 citizens have received their first shot only, while 4,854,386 have been double jabbed.

This is while 3,311,403 people got immunized with three or more doses of a COVID vaccine in Azerbaijan.
As many as 249,713 people have got the booster dose after recovering from COVID-19.
