Azerbaijan reports 4,387 new coronavirus cases, 38 died

Azerbaijan recorded 4,387 new COVID-19 cases, 3,133 people recovered from the infection, while 38 patients lost their lives over the past day.

Yagut Garayeva, head of the Disease Prevention and Control Department of the Medical Territorial Units Management Unit (MEDU), said at a briefing at the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers.

So far, 154,152 people have contracted coronavirus in Azerbaijan, 93,411 have recovered, while 1,713 died. At present, 59,028 people are receiving treatment.

Azerbaijan has conducted 1,865,512 coronavirus tests over the past period. Today's test number is 18,321.
