The Health Committee of the Azerbaijani parliament has today discussed the draft law “Donation and transplantation of human organs and tissues.”
The document includes the list of human organs for transplants, Report says.
Under the draft law, living donors can donate one kidney, part of their lungs, a portion of their livers, a pancreas segment, a section of small bowel, skin, bone marrow, and stem cells.
The Committee recommended the bill to the plenary meeting of Milli Majlis.
