Number of vaccinated in Azerbaijan exceeds 450,000

9,221 people were vaccinated against coronavirus (COVID-19) infection in Azerbaijan on March 12, Report informs, citing the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers.
A total of 450,316 people have been vaccinated against coronavirus in the country.
"Vaccination is successfully underway in all regions of the country."
Azerbaijan started inoculating its population against COVID-19 on January 18. The immunization of people over 65 and employees of some government agencies has been carried out since February 8.
The second stage of vaccination started on February 2. It is performed voluntarily and at state expense.
