On April 20, necessary medicines were donated to the National Hematology and Transfusiology Center against the backdrop of the restrictions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The donation was made as part of the aid campaign initiated by Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva, which involves the redirecting of the revenues from "Cirtdan" family mega-show to ensure the health of children with special needs, Report says.

The assistance provided under the motto "We are strong together!" supports the state measures taken during the nationwide quarantine.

Last year, the campaign provided financial assistance to the Thalassemia Center, as well as medicines, toys and other gifts to the children's department of the National Oncology Center.
