Up to 60 percent of medical facilities in Azerbaijan become public entities

"Work is underway on elimination of measles in Azerbaijan," Deputy Health Minister Elsevar Aghayev told reporters.

Deputy Minister said that the incidence of measles has increased slightly over the past years: "The Ministry of Health has taken the necessary steps in this direction and the process is still underway. Today no incidence of measles has been observed yet.”

Aghayev underlined that serious work is carried out to grant medical institutions public entity status. Including Baku and regions, up to 60 percent medical institutions have become public entity and work in this direction is underway.”
