Global COVID tally nears 657M

The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in the world exceeded 656.9 million on December 25, Report informs, citing Johns Hopkins University.

To date, 6.78 million people have died from COVID-related health complications.

Countries with more than 30 million infection cases include the United States, India, France, Germany and Brazil .
