Global COVID tally nears 580 million

As of Sunday morning, the number of reported coronavirus cases worldwide reached 576.81 million, Report informs with reference to Johns Hopkins University.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, almost 6.4 million people have died from COVID-related health complications.
Countries with more than 20 million registered cases of infection are the United States, India, Brazil, France, Germany and the United Kingdom.
