TABIB: Asymptomatic patients are not given antiviral drugs

"Asymptomatic Covid-19 patients simply provided with vitamins and other medications."
Chairman of the Medical-Scientific Committee under the Board of TABIB, Akif Gurbanov, said at the briefing of Operational Headquarters under the Azerbaijani Cabinet of Ministers.
According to him, there should be special instructions for administering antiviral drugs, which are given only in a hospital: "Currently, hospitals treating coronavirus patients are quite empty. Therefore, symptomatic patients are hospitalized. They are also given all the necessary medicines following the instructions."
