"From January next year, compulsory health insurance will be provided to everyone in Azerbaijan," Deputy Prime Minister, Deputy Chairman and Executive Secretary of the New Azerbaijan Party Ali Ahmadov told journalists.

According to him, the work on compulsory health insurance is currently underway: "The work is carried out to prepare the hospitals which are under the State Agency for Mandatory Health Insurance, and legal normative documents are being prepared. The forms of funding on various categories which serve citizens will be different. Of course, pensioners and people with disabilities will be insured by the state."

The Deputy Prime Minister said people from other categories will benefit from the service by paying compulsory health insurance.
