We have started testing people who survived the infection. Yagut Garayeva, head of the department for disease control and prevention of the Administration of the Regional Medical Divisions (TABIB), told a briefing of the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers on Saturday.
“It is hard to say whether recovered COVID-19 patients will get infected again or not. The results of the examinations will be made public,” she noted.
So far, Azerbaijan has reported 11,767 coronavirus cases and 143 related deaths. A total of 6,325 patients have recovered from the disease in the country.
