Azerbaijan sees 242 new COVID-19 cases

Azerbaijan has recorded 242 new coronavirus cases over the past day, the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers told Report.

Meanwhile, 392 people recovered from the infection, and 5 patients succumbed to the deadly pathogen.

Overall, the country has reported 333,559 cases of infection, 323,198 recoveries, and 4,896 deaths since the onset of the pandemic. At present, 5,465 people are receiving treatment.

Azerbaijan has conducted 3,496,635 COVID-19 tests over the past period, including 10,254 today.
