Azerbaijan's new COVID-19 cases surpass 1,000

Azerbaijan recorded 1,015 new coronavirus cases, Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers told Report.

As many as 483 people recovered from the infection, nine patients lost their lives over the past day.

So far, 53,152 people have contracted COVID-19 in Azerbaijan, 42,516 have recovered, while 708 died.

At present, 10,636 people are receiving treatment.

Azerbaijan has conducted 1,331,287 coronavirus tests over the past period. Today's test number is 11,813.
