Azerbaijan reports 984 new COVID-19 cases, 12 deaths

Azerbaijan has recorded 984 new coronavirus cases over the past day, the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers told Report.

Meanwhile, 1,748 people recovered from the infection, and 12 patients succumbed to the deadly pathogen.

Overall, the country has reported 608,060 cases of infection, 582,243 recoveries, and 8,149 deaths since the onset of the pandemic. At present, 17,668 people are receiving treatment.

Azerbaijan has conducted 5,718,629 COVID-19 tests over the past period, including 12,440 today.
