Azerbaijan reports 40 new COVID-19 cases, 1 death

Azerbaijan has recorded 40 new coronavirus cases, 49 recoveries, and one death over the past day, the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers told Report.

Overall, the country has reported 793,546 cases of infection, 783,550 recoveries, and 9,719 deaths since the onset of the pandemic. At present, 277 people are receiving treatment.

During the last day, 2,348 tests were performed to identify new infections, and a total of 6,980,033 tests have been performed since the start of the pandemic.
