Azerbaijan reports 1,196 new coronavirus cases, 4 deaths

1,196 new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) infection were registered in the Republic of Azerbaijan, while 219 people were cured.

Report informs, citing the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers, that our people died of coronavirus infection over the past day.

So far, a total of 348,074 people have been infected with coronavirus in the country. Of them, 333,913 recovered, and 5,043 died. The number of active patients is 9,118 people.

During the last day, 13,046 tests were performed to identify new infections, and a total of 4,083,746 tests have been performed since the onset of the pandemic.
