Azerbaijan records 902 twins and 54 triplets in first quarter

In January-March 2023, 902 twins and 54 triplets were born in Azerbaijan, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.

According to the Committee, 27,753 newborns across the country were registered by the district (city) registration departments of the Ministry of Justice in the reporting period, and compared to the same period in 2022, this indicator fell from 11.7 to 11.1 per 1,000 people.
