Azerbaijan records 259 new COVID cases

Azerbaijan has recorded 259 new coronavirus cases over the past day, the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers told Report.

Meanwhile, 312 people recovered from the infection, and 7 people died of COVID-related health complications.

Overall, the country has reported 819,847 cases of infection, 808,362 recoveries, and 9,893 deaths since the onset of the pandemic. At present, 1,592 people are receiving treatment.

Azerbaijan has conducted 7,221,407 COVID-19 tests over the past period, including 3,856 today.
