Azerbaijan records 1,697 new COVID cases, 13 deaths

Azerbaijan has recorded 1,697 new coronavirus cases over the past day, the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers told Report.

Meanwhile, 526 people recovered from the infection, and 13 patients succumbed to the deadly pathogen.

Overall, the country has reported 633,731 cases of infection, 612,292 recoveries, and 8,610 deaths since the onset of the pandemic. At present, 12,289 people are receiving treatment.

Azerbaijan has conducted 6,065,279 COVID-19 tests over the past period, including 8,851 today.
