Azerbaijan confirms 71 new COVID-19 cases

Azerbaijan recorded 71 new coronavirus cases and one death over the past day, the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers told Report.

Meanwhile, 75 people recovered from the infection.

Overall, the country has reported 830,301 cases of infection, 819,608 recoveries, and 10,197 deaths. At present, 496 people are receiving treatment.

Over the past day, 1,035 tests were performed to identify new infections, and a total of 7,567,527 tests have been performed since the start of the pandemic.

At the same time, 176 people received their anti-coronavirus shots in Azerbaijan today. Thus, the total number of vaccinated people reached 13,957,314.
