Azerbaijan confirms 1,242 new COVID-19 cases, 8 deaths

Azerbaijan has confirmed 1,242 new coronavirus cases over the past day, the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers told Report.

Meanwhile, 345 people recovered from the infection, and eight patients succumbed to the deadly pathogen.

Overall, the country has reported 349, 316 cases of infection, 334, 258 recoveries, and 5,051 deaths since the onset of the pandemic. At present, 10. 007 people are receiving treatment.

Azerbaijan has conducted 4, 094, 565 COVID-19 tests over the past period, including 10, 819 today.
