Azerbaijan announces weekly COVID statistics

Azerbaijan recorded 126 new coronavirus cases over the past week (September 4-10), the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers told Report.

123 people infected with COVID-19 recovered.

Overall, the country has reported 832,438 cases of infection, 822,004 recoveries, and 10,302 deaths since the onset of the pandemic. At present, 132 people are receiving treatment.

Over the past week, 2,909 tests were performed to identify new infections, and a total of 7,677,476 tests have been performed since the start of the pandemic.

As many as 91 people were vaccinated in the country during the past week.

The total number of vaccines administered in Azerbaijan so far is 13,969,392.
