Active COVID cases further drop in Azerbaijan, nearing 32,000

Azerbaijan has recorded 1,734 new coronavirus cases over the past day, the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers told Report.

Meanwhile, 3,378 people recovered from the infection, and 25 patients succumbed to the deadly pathogen.

Overall, the country has reported 472,719 cases of infection, 434,095 recoveries, and 6,305 deaths since the onset of the pandemic. At present, 32,319 people are receiving treatment.

Azerbaijan has conducted 4,744,161 COVID-19 tests over the past period, including 12,780 today.
