708 twins, 21 triplets born in Azerbaijan

The district (city) registration offices of the Ministry of Justice recorded 29,484 births from January through March this year.
According to the State Statistics Committee, this figure was 11.9 per 1,000 people.
Boys accounted for 53% and girls made 47% of all newborns. Of them, 708 were twins, and 21 were triplets.
