Strong and close cooperation between Russia and Azerbaijan is one of the key elements of stability in the South Caucasus, the Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova said at a briefing, Report informs.
The diplomat noted that after the signing of the Russian-Azerbaijani declaration on allied cooperation, relations between the two countries are developing at a qualitatively new level.
“We share the high assessment of the state of bilateral relations expressed by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev. After the signing of the Russian-Azerbaijani declaration on allied cooperation, our relations are developing at a qualitatively new level,” Zakharova said.
