Yagub Eyyubov: Russia not only economic partner, but also guarantor of regional security

Baku. 16 December. REPORT.AZ/ “Relations between Azerbaijan and Russia reached a level of strategic partnership.”

Report informs, referring to RIA Novosti, First Vice Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Yagub Eyyubov said at the meeting of Azerbaijan-Russia inter-governmental commission on commercial and economic ties.

“Russia is not only economic partner, but also guarantor of security in the region. Russia tries to maintain peace everywhere, so that none invades internal affairs of other countries”, told E.Yagubov.

According to him, Baku values relations with Moscow.

We value our relations. We have stimulus to increase trade turnover. Trade turnover slumped since 2014 due to economic crisis”, vice prime minister noted.
