Baku. 22 January. REPORT.AZ/ The 48th World Economic Forum will begin today in Davos, Switzerland.
Report informs, this year the forum will be devoted to "finding ways to confirm international cooperation on the most important common interests".
Leading business leaders and political leaders will discuss the most acute world problems, global, regional problems facing modern society. The key themes of the forum will be international security, the environment and the global economy.
According to the program of the forum, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will address the forum on January 23 within the framework of the panel entitled "Strategic Outlook - Eurasia".
US President Donald Trump, French President Emmanuel Macron, British Prime Minister Teresa May are also expected to attend the event.
Georgian Prime Minister Georgy Kvirikashvili will also visit the forum.
The event ends on January 26.
