Volkan Bozkir: 'We discuss situation in Ukraine, but have forgotten about Afghanistan'

We discuss the situation in Ukraine, but we have forgotten about Afghanistan, said the President of the 75th session of the General Assembly of the United Nations and a member of the Nizami Ganjavi International Center, Volkan Bozkir, at the panel session of the 11th Global Baku Forum themed “Fixing the Fractured World,” Report informs.

"While we talking about the fractured world, we are discussing priorities on matters that contribute to division. We are discussing the situation in Ukraine, but we have forgotten Afghanistan, we are not talking about Sudan, Lebanon, or Iraq. Drug trafficking is ruling the world. We seem to consider the epicenter of the earthquake, but we forget about tsunamis. We should know the reasons and consequences," Bozkir emphasized.
