Vice-Speaker of Knesset: Israel doesn't recognize so-called "Armenian genocide"

Jerusalem. 22 September. REPORT.AZ/ "Israel has an official government position, Israli government does not recognize the so-called "Armenian genocide". Report informs, Vice-Speaker of Israeli Knesset Hilik Bar stated, commenting the discussion in one of the Knesset committees the possibility of recognition of so-called "Armenian genocide".

Commenting on statements of some of the Armenians that so-called "Armenian genocide" can be compared with the Holocaust, H. Bar stressed that he was "against any comparisons, because Nothing in the history of human kind can be similar or comparable to the genocide of Jewish people."

Responding to a question about the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict settlement, H. Bar expressed his wish that "Azerbaijanis and Armenians would find courage to sit together and find the solution to all disagremeents."
