Vice-speaker: Armenia played game under the name of extraordinary parliamentary elections
Report/ Firi Salim

Baku. 10 December. REPORT.AZ/ "Information about early parliamentary elections in Armenia is primarily reported by Armenian citizens and the press. What we report is a sort of repetition of what they say," vice-speaker of the Parliament of Azerbaijan Bahar Muradova said.

Report informs that, according to her, all the steps were taken in advance to get the desired result from the elections, persons, circles and organizations that could hinder it were destroyed, the citizens were intimidated:

"They in Armenia acted by the principle: "whether or not you like it, I will be a prime minister" and the result is obvious. Therefore, a predetermined result was simply to be approved.

"I think that the attitude of the Armenian citizens to this issue is obvious and they have to decide whether they want to live and work under the rule of a political showman, confirming the results of that election. This is their personal life. But as it happens in our region, this grasp our attention, too."

Mrs. Muradova added that different international centers, international organizations that assess the results of the elections, including the OSCE must demonstrate an objective position:

"They must express their objectivity to the elections held under various pressures and threats."

She said she does not believe that significant decisive changes will be made on Nagorno-Karabakh conflict after the extraordinary parliamentary elections: "Because the views expressed by Nikol Pashinyan on the service of the Armenian citizens in Nagorno-Karabakh voiced ahead of elections showed that they were designed for elections."
