Report informs, this was stated by first Deputy Assistant Secretary of US for South and Central Asia, Alice Wells, while commenting on the meeting of International Contact Group (ICG) on Afghanistan held in Baku.

"I also want to thank President Ilham Aliyev personally for such an active role in helping Afghanistan and its people. The meeting of the contact group in Baku reflects the intention of the international community to reach an agreement on peace with the Taliban. Now we all have to wait for their reaction, answer, " the representative of the US State Department summarized.
