US senators congratulate Azerbaijanis on Independence Day

Baku. 17 October. REPORT.AZ/ Senmi Temu Dakuort and Richard Durbin from the US State of Illinois sent their congratulatory letters to the members of the Azerbaijan Community of Illinois on the occasion of the 27th anniversary of the restoration of independence of Azerbaijani Republic.

Report informs citing Azertag that the congratulatory letters were sent to the Azerbaijani Center on US Middle East states.

The letters emphasized that the activities of this organization, its educational and charitable activities enriched Chicago's public life. The members of the organization familiarize American youth with the history of the Azerbaijani people and values of this nation.

It was noted in the letters that more than 50 million Azerbaijanis, including Azerbaijani community with 400,000 members in US commemorate the contribution of those who established the independent Azerbaijan.
