US Senate Committee will discuss candidacy of US ambassador to Azerbaijan in December

Baku. 14 November. REPORT.AZ/ The candidate for the post of the US ambassador to Azerbaijan, Earle Litzenberger, will again speak before the US Senate Committee on International Relations on December 13, US Charge d'Affaires ad interim in Azerbaijan William Gill told Report.

According to him, if the committee approves Litzenberger on December 13, the final hearing will be held in the Senate.

Notably, Earle Litzenberger’s candidacy for the post of the US ambassador to Azerbaijan was discussed in the Senate Committee in October.
