Baku. 13 December. REPORT.AZ/ The United States Senate Committee on Foreign Relations will vote on the candidacies of the US Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Earle D. Litzenberger, and the US Ambassador to Armenia, Lynne Tracy at the meeting on December 13.

Report informs citing the official website of Committee on Foreign Relations that the meeting will be presided by the head of Committee, Bob Corker.

If the ambassador’s candidacy is approved, it will be put to a vote in the US Senate.

Notably, the candidacy of Earle Litzenberger for the post of US ambassador to Azerbaijan was discussed in the Senate Committee in October.

Earlier, E. Litzenberger held posts in the US diplomatic missions in Serbia, Kyrgyzstan. He speaks French, Russian, Serbian and Bulgarian.
