"The United States is seeking any opportunities to resolve the problems between Azerbaijan and Armenia," Ambassador to Azerbaijan Earle D. Litzenberger told journalists.
He cited as an example the separate meetings of US Deputy Secretary of State Victoria Nuland with the Foreign Ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia in New York last week.
"Everyone knows that these countries still have unresolved problems. This will be a long process, and solution to these problems will require meetings and joint activity," the ambassador said.
