Baku. 12 July. REPORT.AZ/ Ukraine initiates discussion on creation of a single economic space with the Eastern Partnership countries.
Report informs citing the Ukrainian media, it was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin.
"Today, I raised the question on possibility of discussions on establishment of a single economic space", the head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry said.
According to him, the countries intend to hold consultations on this issue and meet for further discussions in the fall.
The Eastern Partnership program, aimed at bringing the EU's six eastern neighbors – Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia, Ukraine, Moldova and Belarus - was launched in 2009. It was initiated by Poland and Sweden.
